highs and lows cut

i really need a image line expert to answer this it could be a setting on my computer but i don't know the highs and lows are cut before i even start on a beat my friend use fl studio and when i go to his house and make beats his highs and lows are fine i need to know what i'm doing it's could be the audio.dll i don't know but i need answers because it's getting annoying when everyone talk about my highs and low end in beats and i can't do nothing about it because it's a problem with my fl studio if this keep happening i might have to switch to ableton
