So for science & just out of sheer curiosity & testing. I ran some some null tests on some plugins to see if they truly did null in their default state. Now i know it maybe doesn't ultimately matter or maybe it does? That's why I wanna know what some of you & maybe some of devs have say about it and why they don't?

Null - Fruity Balance On (Normalize Off)
Sample Peak: -138.5db

Null - Fruity Balance (Normalize On)
This sound quite bad & distorted once normalized up to levels where you can hear it, so i'm wondering why is there such a signal there in the first place when there probably shouldn't be?
