quick question about patcher and Freq Splitter

Im trying to set up low, med, high bands with dynamics and effects on each band. In order for me to do this, I just want to make sure Im setting it up correctly by adding sends to Freq Splitter, and routing them to each plugin per band accordingly? Can anyone confirm and elaborate?
