Multiple audio channels into a single mixer channel and have separate outputs

Hi all.

I'm trying to pre-treat multiple vocal tracks with the same effects and still have them as separate tracks.

Essentially:

Raw input 1
Raw input 2
[go into]
Common effects bus
[goes out to]
Output 1
Output 2

The reason for this is to save CPU because duplicating the "common effects" to each single channel is too intensive, especially when you have many vocal harmonies. Also, if I want to change the compression on the raw tracks, I can do it all from 1 mixer track instead of changing something, and having to replicate the changes across all mixer tracks.

I attempted to achieve this by sidechaining the inputs to a mixer channel with patcher, and then outputting the patcher to output mixer channels. However, I can't get it to work (please see screenshot)

Does anyone have any recommendations?
