Sending Edison track audio-clip to playlist

If I have mixed and recorded a track to Edison I want to export the track recorded on Edison as a mp3. I am having difficulties sending the Edison recording as an audio clip to the Playlist (the icon says 'sent' but i go to the Playlist and it hasn't been sent). If I can send it to the Playlist as an audio clip then i can mute all the channel tracks and export it as an mp3. If I could see the Playlist underneath the Edison pop-up then maybe I can drag it over easier?
