Which mastered version sounds best to you?
The first part is my own mastered version using Maximus, the second part (when the db level changes from -1.8 to -1.5) is BandLab's mastered version.
Did you hear any noticeable difference? Which one did you like the best?
One of my friends took a listen and he could not tell any difference I guess people who don't produce etc won't be able to tell much difference on these things aha.
Anyways, I just wanted to test Bandlab's mastering tool compared to my own doing, so I could maybe simplify and speed up my production. And also because Bandlab's tool provides natural dynamics and tonal balancing, so to me that means I don't need to use reference tracks so often, and the balance of the track would be fixed automatic, I guess. Ofc it also depends a lot on the mix too, if its a bad mix, mastering won't make it better.
