Would you recommend an ultra wide monitor?

I've been using a 24inch monitor for a long time and really love it. It makes me concentrate on whatever I work on easily.
I use all the shortcuts to bring up the windows and ESC key to close them right away after I use them.

However, I think it would help me a lot if I can keep some monitor plugins open while I work. So, I'm thinking to get maybe a 34inch ultra-wide monitor. I would love to hear your experience especially the downsides if there are. Would it be hard to get used to curved monitors?
