While listening to my mix in mono, i prefer to only have one of my two monitors on. Since both monitors play the exact same audio there shouldn't be any need to have both on right?
It sounds more natural to me to just listen through one speaker while in mono.
Do you mix in mono?
I think it makes it easier to hear if something is too loud, like the kick, so i mostly find it useful when setting the volumes.
