Latency Issues with UAD Apollo Twin X

Hi community,

I have issues recording with my apollo interface.

Everytime I record an arbitrary delay is added in front of new recorded tracks.
It changes and gets worse the more plugins are placed within the project.

That makes recording tough. I have to manually cut, move and correct the not-static delay by hand on every track I record. Is especially a nightmare when punching in at different positions around the playlist. There has to be a better way.

My Apollo is usually set to 48khz and the buffer size varies from project to project.

Usually i start projects with buffer size of 512.

I never understood the clock thing from the apollo as I can only choose internal clock. When i select pdif it blinks red and nothing works anymore.

Could you give me tips on how to solve my issue?
