Split by Pattern Issue

When 'splitting by channel' under pattern options, only half of the patterns are being added to the plugin picker.

This occurred after importing a Layer with associated 'children' (patterns) from another project. I then added midi key switches to each channel before splitting. But like i say, only half of 50 or so patterns are appearing in the pattern picker? There isn't a limit is there? How do I split the remainder?
