Ritardando/ Midi no BPM automation!!

Hey guys,

a friend showed me a midi placement in Logic, in music theory it is called "ritardando"
Ritardando, is defined slowing down notes gradually. notes slow down in BPM

So in Logic he can choose different grid options, where he can change the tempo of the grid inside the midi editor. not via automation or affecting the project tempo.
There are options like ritardando, accelerando..etc. musical terminology tempo changes.

so my question is it possible to change the grid in a way that i can slow down the midi tempo without affecting the BPM of the whole projectand no automation on the project bpm? just wanna change the midi tempo, I dont wanna change the project tempo.
