Hey all, i know it happend a LONG time ago, but i',m re organizing all my stuff as my system is a total mess after having used FL since version 3 or so and never really attempting to tidy.... anyway
Why do some things go to C:.Documents and some stay in the patches folder? I never really got the idea of splitting everything up into different locations on the hard drive. It means more work when backing up for one. I know it's just copying over the documents\Image line folder, but thats as well as copying over the Program files\imagine line folder.
Why not just have it all under program files? Seeing as PLugin database for example, could be seen as being program files. It's all very well and say you can do it how you want, but when the next install auto creates all new things over in another folder it means you're doubled up again on folders.
ANyway it's not a complaint, it's my fault my files are such a mess, but just genuinely want to know why put half the things in one folder, and half elsewhere?
