AmpliTube 5 in multiple mixer tracks?

So I’ve been scouring the internet for an answer to this but I just can’t find anything. I’ve been trying to record in FL studio using AmpliTube 5 (though I have heard it’s not 100% ideal) but if been running into an issue.
I want to have two different sounding guitars. The first section that I have routed to one mixer track sounds crystal clear however when I activate AmpliTube in another, I becomes extreme bit crunches an there is nothing but crackling. I know it has nothing to do with the guitar, though I thought it could potentially be my ASIO.
For reference I’m using a Scarlet Solo, is there something preventing me from actually being able to record two completely different sounding guitar?
Alternatively if I’m actually doing something wrong it’d great if someone could let me know, I’m extremely new to FL and recording as whole.
