Ctrl+Z closes plugin even when letting plugin handle keystrokes first

I don't quite get this, but even when the feature to let the plugin handle keystrokes before the host is enabled, ctrl+z still removes the plugin and destroys all the work done in it.

Anyone else also notice this? Is this a problem? If so, it's quite frustrating
