Behaviour new instrument track old vs. new

I obserbved a different behaviour regarding instrument tracks in the current version of FL Studio compared to 20.7.3:

Behaviour in 20.7.3: If you drag a generator to an existing instrument track in the playlist a new instrument track is created above the existing instrument track.
Behaviour in 20.9.x: If you drag a generator to an existing instrument track in the playlist the existing instrument track is replaced with the new one.

I really like the old behaviour cause you don't have to click Insert One if you want to create a new instrument track between two existing instrument tracks. Is there a way to toggle between old and new behaviour?
