Live Looping with FLKey 37 and muting tracks.

Hey there,

Trying to figure out the best setup for live looping using FL Studio and FLKey37. So far, I loop a bar, record notes (so that I can quantise in real time), and as it loops, I use FLKey to switch channel rack, and record a different instrument. Now say I have a song with 4 instruments on the channel rack. At times I may need to mute or enable instruments depending on chorus / verse. How do I mute this?

Or am I approaching this incorrectly and should be doing all of this via tracks already setup with instruments? If so, how do I mute at track level from FLKey37?
