How do I use loop points without losing the sample tail?
Hello, I'm trying to take an 808 sample and have it last longer than it does as a one-shot. I know how to open it in Edison, set loop points and make them smooth so that it loops indefinitely as long as I'm holding the key. But the problem is, when I release, the sound just stops abruptly at peak volume, so I lose the nice decay of the original sample. Is there a way to have a sample loop on the loop points while you're holding the key, but then once you release the key it continues to play the rest of the sample after the last loop point? Thanks!
