Midi export wrong

Hello,
I have a problem with the midi export. Every time I have a midi track recorded and I change some notes thereafter and export the track, then the length/duration of the changed notes is not correct. They just are to hear for a second or very short, although i´ve changed them for example to be four beats long. How can I solve this exporting problem? Greetings
