A more advanced transposing feature would be great that can do audio & pattern midi at the same time, so here's what I was thinking, let me know if its a viable idea?
Transpose Slider
- 'Home Key' - a drop down menu you can select the original key of the song - clicking this returns all transposed patterns & audio to the nominated original key
In toolbar section somewhere (12 semitone range - with key names added to each interval pending whatever the 'Home Key' is set to) - Home Key = F#
- +1 semi = G
- -1 semi = F
- -2 semi = E
- ect
- This pitch adjustment should be separate from the Channel Pitch knob & Pitch Shift knob
- The Transpose Button being an option added the misc tab that is turned on by default for every audio clip that links to the Transpose Slider in toolbar (an option could be added in General for this behaviour)
- When the transpose slider is changed to a different key a dialog can pop up (All transposed audio clips will be set to real time stretching mode)
- A new Transpose Slider option added would be set to ON by default for all pattern clips but with the ability to select multiple patterns to OFF if need be
