Chopping and Playing Patterns MPC Style

Is there a way to use something Like SliceX
to play your own drum loops without exporting them
for example if i were to make a 32 step pattern
then mix it up on the fly

I have been doing this with gross beat but its too mechanical
and manually chopping them up in the playlist but it is tedious

but if i could split a pattern into 4 parts then trigger them to mix them up that be cool

does this functionality already live somewhere perhaps some hidden feature of FPC?
