Compress range of pitch wheel

Hi All, i cant remember how to do this. I'm trying to make the pitch bend have a much narrower range within a certain instrument (happens to be spitfire audio plugin) I dont want the pitch wheel to control the full 36 semitones, so am trying to make it only control maybe 2-3 semitones both up and down. But keep the centre point where it is. Everything i do seems to mess it up. The above wave shaper spline is what i'm trying to achieve within the internal controller box.
