Why hide browser does not work as the new download panel?

Hi,

I'm "very old" FL user but from a time to here, I'm not using it as before, though. Now with the new version, I've decided to update it.
One of the things I didn't like at all from previously is the way works "hide browser" and how moves everything when it's docked on FL.

I've just seen that there is a new pannel for downloading content, it's docked but appear on top, rather than moving all the things to a side.

So my question is, is there a way to do the same with the browser or it's sill impossible? I don't want to have the browser all the time on the screen but since shortcut is a little tedious, the only way I did before is hidding it, but moving all.. it didn't like it.
