Difference Between Move and Copy in the Project Folder?

Hello my people,
I think I've been under the wrong impression about the new "copy all samples to Project Folder" feature.

Below that switch is then the option to either "Move/Copy new content to Project Folder"
What does this exactly mean, and what are the benefits of each?
