Routing mixer channels

How can we route (for example) the signal out from channel 1 in to channel 2 and 3 simultaneously. we need to create multiple copies of a lot of channels to crossfade between groups that feature mostly the same parts exept for the odd beat ie, one group having one beat and another group having a different beat, but both groups having the same sfx samples vox etc.
We know this is a commonly asked question, but cant find anything in the help files and couldn't find anything in previous post's after 20 mins of looking.
