I wish I could find the answer to this question in the manual/tutorials, but maybe I'm asking it the wrong way. Or, looking in the wrong place.In FL7, how do I go about integrating third party drum machines like GURU, LinPlug RMIV, Battery 3, etc.? In the case of the first two, they play along happily, but nothing is recorded, no matter what I do w/r/t 'pattern' or 'song.' Nothing is captured in the piano roll, step sequencer or playlist. I'm assuming that with Battery, keystrokes will be recorded corresponding to the individual samples, but with the first two, what's the theory? They both have their own transport buttons, and RMIV can load MIDI files independent of FL. And with both GURU and RMIV it should be possible to record a 'performance' as I switch from one pattern to another, correct? So Q1 = what am I doing wrong here?
Q2: pretty much the same, except it's the mystery of how to make Jamstix 2 work in FL.
