Scott...a good example for you

Scott,

Santa delivered a lovely shiny new copy of Live 7 yesterday. Do you have it over there?

The 'getting started' tutorials are a dream. I have played with it for an hour or so, and now I have no need to ask any stupid questions at their forum, whatsoever. :)

Why? Because the tutorial text sits alongside the software, and takes you step by step through the basics (and not-so-basics), while you do the stuff it says at the same time and see the results. The tutorials come with the Live Sets to use as you follow it through. The first thing you're presented with when you open it up first time, is the full set of tutorials, just a click away, so there's not even an excuse for not looking.

I love it, and I think the FL tutorials/help would benefit from a similar system...not just to prevent dumb questions, but also to get people up and running (and happy) quicker and easier.

Just a thought.

Vic
