latency slowly increases with asio

i was wondering if this problem is just mine, or if other people notice it. i use the akai mpd24 and the fpc together a lot recently , using asio4all v2.7 in FL to reduce the latency from around 100ms (what i get using my sound card) to about 10ms or less (with asio4all).

i really like the asio4all thing because before i discovered it's usefullness, recording midi in fl was pointless as the latency was ridiculous and i couldn't compensate for it.

i've noticed something though. it seems that with asio the latency slowly increase over time.

the only remedy to this problem i've found is to open the asio panel and move the buffer size slider. this seems to reset the latency back to what it was at the start (almost instantaneous).

it takes several minutes for it to become noticeable which isn't too bad... but it is sort of irratating to have to open up the pannel every couple of minutes to jiggle the buffer slider.

i was wondering if this is a known issue and if there any work around for it.

i'd appreciate any help yall could possibly give

thanks
