Hey there I know this is a very frequently asked question but I´d like to see (again) what is the BEST recomendation that the Staff or the Gurus here can give me in getting a new PC.
At the moment I have one PC like this. AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600, 4 Gb RAM (yeah only using 3.2), Firewire maudio 410 and Home XP OS. I use FL Studio as main sequencer and I have about 10 ms latency this way, but I use to rec a lot using Guitar Rig, and PSP Vintage warmer, I also use Akoustik Piano and Battery samplers, so as FM8, B4II and Sytrus, I can say those are my tools more frequently used, and turns to happen that having a project that I couldnot call it HUGE PROJECT, my computer just CAN´T do the JOB, so I frequently have the RAM use about 99%, and the CP use also very high, and that makes me to Crash more often that I want.
I want something better (honestly I know my PC is not really a cheap machine but...), just as an advice could you recommend me ONE "more Stable System" Including a new PC and a new Soundcard, because I'm thinking on recording many channels at the same time (voices, Guitars, Bass and drums).
I saw that Quad Procesor and seems great but It won't be totally used because the design of FL, but in the feature would we get a more powerful (stable) hard/software.
I'd like to know for example what kind of PC the staff members have? Mr Gol?
