Making a rave-type sound

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to make the screech-type noise that is used in alot of techno/trance/rave songs. (screech isn't really the best word to describe the sound but I can't think of anything else.) A good example of this sound can be found in the song, about 25 seconds in.

I'd like to make some techno songs that have this sound and I just can't figure it out. I have FL Studio 7, and I've played around with most of the effects in both sytrus and the mixer but just can't seem to figure it out. Can anyone help me out?
