Synth question

Hello,

I have about 2GB of synths on my computer now, but I ran into a problem.

They're all incredibly kick ass, but they play for 1-4 measures. I want to make it so they are responsive to the length of the bar I assigned to them. If I put a bar that's barely visible, they still play for the full length.

How do I get them responsive to the length that I assign them?

I don't want to use the default FL studio stuff, because it's not the best.
