Hello everyone,
I’m a long time user of FL Studio 20. I recently made the switch to FL Studio 21.
In the previous version, when I use the Paint Tool for multiple copies of the same sequence on the Playlist, the sequence remained selected. What I mean by that is, it is highlighted. Therefore I can drag the copies immediately and slide them around the Playlist.
However with the newer version, once I use the Paint Tool, the sequence is Deselected. Which means I have to switch to the Select Tool, Select the sequence, switch back to the Paint Tool to finally drag it around.
That’s triple the work, considering I use the Paint Tool a lot.
You could argue that I should use shortcut keys to quicken the task. But it still doesn’t beat the initial settings of the Paint Tool. Having your sequence immediately highlighted after you create it speeds up your workflow at a greater scale…
Is there a way to revert back the setting?
