Some string instruments exists where different scales of strings are made of different materials so the sound is slightly different depending on the pitch of your note, and not only depending on that. Each octave would have a nuance or character of its own.
So what I'm asking is if there's an easy way to create a collective "synth" where you can add certain synth presets that you have created to make an impression of an instrument of many characters?
For example, let's say C3-B4 is a synth I named "Steel" and C5-B6 I named "Nylon". And these would switch automatically according to the pitch/octave.
Is there a way to create a "synth" created from scales of other synths?
