Any way to convert volume automations into velocities for MIDI exports?

I tried to export a MIDI file which I managed to do, but I noticed that while the individual note velocities in the patterns affect the volume changes in the MIDI files the volume automations don't. So is there any way to merge automations into the velocities of the affected patterns before the export so the automation's effect remains?
