How to synthesize nice kick

I've been playing with Maximus and suddenly I heard kick instead of click. Case study returned following Laffik's kick synthesize method:

1. plug 3xOsc in the track
2. set first shape to noise
3. set to 0% two other shapes
4. send 3xOsc to any insert in the mixer
5. plug the stereo shaper into the insert
6. set the third slider to the -infdB and fourth to 0dB
7. plug Fruity Parametric Equalizer (the older one) in the insert
8. switch one filter band to high-shelf and set the Q of the filter to 0.09 and frequency to 1,5kHz (this switches the filter to adjust the spectral slope)
9. pull the band level to the lowest (it will amazingly give us -3dB/oct slope)
10. in the 3xOsc's envelope amp editor make shortest possible click
11. set second band of the filter to highpass, frequency to 50Hz and Q to 0.14
12. plug in the maximus after the filter
13. switch off all bands except the master ('comp off' not 'off')
14. turn master attack and master lookahead to zero milliseconds
15. turn master release to c.a. 14ms
16. lift up the infinity point to the 0dB to adjust the curve to horizontal line and get expansion to 0dB
17. adjust the transient shape with some third-party transient shaper to get thumpy kick

If you want more punchy kick, apply my following trick in this forum about shaper on kicks transient.
If you want more distorted kick, adjust master release below 14ms.
