Create Sequence -vs- Envelope Editor

Sytrus has a handy tool called Create Sequence but its functions overlap with the Envelope Editor in ways that are unclear. For example they both have a Loop Start feature, but both Loop Starts can be on at the same time for the same beat. What does that mean - do they do something different?
Also, in the Create Sequence dialog, only ONE of these can be on at a time:
  • Loop start - Loop start.
  • Next, Arp UP - At the break-point sound the next note above the previous note played.
  • Same, REPEAT - Sound the same note as at the last break-point.
  • Previous, Arp DOWN - At the break-point sound the next note below the previous note played.
  • Loop end - Loop end.
  • Off - Use this to clear an unwanted break point.
... so how do you tell it in the Create Sequence dialog what note to play on Loop End or Loop Start, i.e., Same, Next, or Previous? In the Envelope Editor you can right click and set them independently in a popup.

Does FL Studio have any more detailed documentation for this feature that what's here:
