How to create single cycle waveforms?

Hi guys!

I'm wondering does anyone know how to create single cycle waveforms from audio?

I'm trying to make some new waveforms to import/analyze here, like for emulating vintage synths etc.
Is it something easily done within Edison, and if so are there any tricks to cutting down precisely to such a small time base? Thanks!
