According to the documentation, I can place my full version of DirectWave VST in a mixer insert channel, so I can sample hardware synths from the "audio input source" selected for that channel.
I'm having trouble accomplishing this. I've tried the following:
In Plugin Manager, change DirectWave VST to Type: Effect (does not work)
In insert channel, try to add DirectWave via Manage Plugins (not available)
In Patcher added to an insert channel, add the DW VST and route audio to it. (no audio input available when adding inputs on the vst, only events and parameters)
I've also searched the documentation and forums.
I've enjoyed the ease of sampling VSTs with DirectWave, I'm ready to take on more here.
Thanks in advance.
