More advanced triggering of cues possible?

Hi, Within a Patcher, I have a Slicex and a zGame in parallel, wishing to trigger each of the video's 'trigger cue points' with the corresponding audio region/marker in Slicex, yet I'm wanting the video to stop and start playing in conjunction with the audio, like a gate. The 'stopping' part is not a problem, by routing the 'note offs' to a video 'stop' cue point (externally). However, after selecting the next video cue point, a 'play' cue point must be triggered to cancel the previous 'stop', and it's this that I'm struggling with.

Basically, it would be nice if triggering another cue point was enough to start the video playing again when stopped. Anybody else tried this kinda thing?

Also, can anybody explain why each video cue point is triggered on both notes 'on' and 'off' if routing the midi direct from FL to zGame (in the Patcher), yet if there's a midi out in between, cues are triggered only on the note on?
