Unable to export a GIF

I was trying to export a 2 second GIF of color changing text, but an error comes up every time I try to export. the window that pops up says "Could not start video export. Please try a different set of export settings and try again. Error message is: Could not create encoder". I am using Producer Edition v20.1.2
