Some steps on the step sequencer on the akai fire are significantly darker than others. Sometimes entire instruments have darker steps, sometimes entire instruments are at correct brightness. Sometimes all steps are dark except for like the 13th step, sometimes only every other step is dark, until the 8th step, and then all are darker afterwards. Weird crazy undefined behaviour. My brightness and saturation are on max.
When deleting or adding steps to other generators in the step sequencer it seems to affect which steps go bright or dark (but not off) in the Akai fire. E.g. populating channel 3 with all steps may make the steps in channel 11 show up brighter, but deleting channel 3 steps will make it go dark again.
