M-Audio Oxygen Pro Setup

I have followed the directions on the manufacturer website to set this controller up.
ie set the Oxygen Pro as generic controller in FL studio midi settings however when I return to the settings it no longer is set to generic controller but set to M-Audio Oxygen 49/61.
I also have the MIDIIN3 set to Mackie Control Universal as per instructions.
Whats going on?
Its not M-Audio Oxygen but M-Audio Pro.
Could this be whats causing the faders to get confused when switching Banks when Oxygen Pro is in DAW mode?
