Config for FL studio & Roland TR-8S

I did some reading, and some searching in these forums and through Google and YouTube. But I'm not able to find any information telling what and where I need to configure inside of FL studio, and on the TR-8S to get them to talk/work together.

My desired result is to have the TR play it's drums in the FL studio program via USB MIDI. i.e. (Would be nice to insert the TR on the rack and/or track. So that when I press play/Rec what ever the RT is playing shows up as either midi data or a wave or something [Sorry kinda new]).

Currently the best I have gotten is that I'm able to control the TR via software for play and stop, and do the same from the TR to control the software to play and stop. But it doesn't play back any sounds from the TR. In fact if I have, say channel 4 highlighted on the rack and I press play, it will play back the pattern set on the TR but for what ever instrument is listed in the rack.

Sot how do I get the two PC and TR to talk to each other, and hear the TR drums in FL?
