I use my Fender Squier Affinity Telecaster (my guitar) to play MIDI notes by linking it to MIDI Guitar 2 (by Jam Origin) which is a VST that converts guitar notes into MIDI notes with full polyphony aswell. This VST is linked to any VSTi or generator plugin (like Sytrus for example) and my guitar has become a synth.
What I'd like to do though is be able to record the MIDI notes from my guitar live into the piano roll and/or the playlist, rather than just recording the audio with say a beat playing in the background.
Does anyone know a way to make a VST like MIDI Guitar 2 into a MIDI controller in the FL Studio MIDI settings? That way it'd record the notes just like it does from a keyboard.
It'd be nice to be able to quantize the resulting recording if I wanted to aswell.
Cheers.
