VST Player Hardware in Standalone Mode?

Hey everbody,

is there a way to load VST plugins or - more important to me - plugin presets into a hardware permanently? The hardware could either be a MIDI controller or a interface. Since I have a tower PC I cannot perform live comfortably. I already found things like Seelake's Audiostatation, Receptor or the V-Machine. But these tools are as expensive as a new computer.
