Novation Launch Pad Pro Scales working in FL Studio? Alternative?

hey guys i just received today my first Pad controller, AKAI FIRE, and i kinda like it so far but it seems too small and not velocity sensitive and i look for an alternative, big point i like is the SCALE MODE, i really just wanna play without caring if i play the notes right when i use this pad (i got a real keyboard too ) and it kinda really makes fun so far! but again i somehow feel this thing lacks somehow.
so what i found so far is the NOVATION LAUNCHPAD PRO. i would love to get Push but it is really expensive and seems only focused for Ableton.... so my questions are:

1. can you use and/or does it also have the sclaes like AKAI FIRE and can you play it in fl studio too? choose the scale and push

2. or is there maybe a nice alternative? something like Fire but a bit bigger etc?
