VST scanning bug!!

I've seen a few comments about this here already, however this needs to get fixed before another release. It's taking about an hour to get through this on my PC. It is clearly ignoring the search directories and looking at ALL the dll's on the C: drive. This was reported as a bug in earlier releases as well, so it's quite disappointing to see another release that can't quite manage it's own file operations. IL is outstanding for its support and fixing things and I do understand that this is a 'beta', but please put this on the to-do list prior to any more updates. It shouldn't be too difficult to fix a search boundary issue.
