Main Window Tab Bar & Logo Menu Button

here's a weird situation. The menu tab on the main window is missing the description, along with the other tabs. If you hover across, i can see there are tabs there, but no description either. the same goes for the menu button at the upper left. i have installed the lastest update (4.0.0.2219) to ezgen4 and have the latest flash updates as well.
