Problem After Removing Guestbook

Hello.
This is the first issue that I have not been able to deal with.
Experimenting, I had added a guestbook page using php live to my project.
When I was ready to publish, I saw the website size had increased about 3.8 MB which unfortunately puts me over my site limit.
I deleted the guestbook page from my project but when I started to publish again the total file size remained the same and still wants to upload the extra 3.8 MB.
Any suggestions as to what may be done to solve this.
I have loaded a back-up but the issue remains.
