Mastering help?

Hi Everybody! This is my first post on here. I was wondering if anyone could please give me some mastering tips for trance/ electronic music. Someone told me that mastering was one of the most important parts of the track and, so far, for all of my tracks I haven't done any mastering. Any advice?
