1st note of 1st measure silent on play/loop...

Hi,

I'm experiencing short audio fades/dropouts at the start of playback, and also when looping *if* a channel's midi data is sparse enough and the audio's decay/tail is short.

I can reproduce this by:
Starting a new song (120 bpm, but any will do..)
Insert a drum sampler, load a kick-drum sample.
Insert a 1 measure pattern
Insert a kick on the first beat of the pattern
Set the song to loop over one bar, hit play

-- No audio is produced...

If I try to render this to a WAV file, there is no audio in the export.

If I add another kick almost anywhere in the measure, the kick on the first beat starts to play, but this depends on the position of the 2nd kick and the length of the pattern - eg if the pattern is two bars long and there is a kick on the first beat of each bar, it will not produce audio.


It sounds like either; a noise gate on the channel or master with a slow attack failing to catch the first note/transient, and then closing too soon before the next one; or, the audio device being released too quickly when FLSM detects there is no audio being generated.

Hardware is Nvidia Shield Tablet K1, running Android 7.

Any help appreciated.
